Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in a small quiet town with countryside surroundings, which was not what I expected based on the rating at the time of booking. However, the staff are very nice and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently situated near the animal shelter we were helping evacuate after the hurricane, making it practical for our mission.
My stay at the hotel was a bit disappointing overall. The rooms weren't ready when I arrived, which was frustrating considering I had evacuated during hurricane Harvey. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and the bathroom felt damp, including the bedcloths. On the upside, the hotel's location was perfect for our needs, being in a small quiet town near West Columbia where we were working on evacuating animals from the shelter after the hurricane.
My stay at the hotel was quite satisfactory. The rooms were spacious and conveniently located across from Dairy Queen. However, there were some service lapses that affected the overall experience.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were very clean and spacious, but they had a musty smell throughout my 3-day visit. The location was great, especially being across from Dairy Queen, although it wasn't what I expected initially. The service was polite but slightly distant and unhelpful during my stay.
The hotel was very clean and spacious, although the location was not what I expected initially. The service was a mix of distant and friendly interactions. The dining options were simple but suitable for a hot summer day. Overall, my stay was comfortable but had its ups and downs.
Upon arriving at the hotel, the rooms were warm initially due to the AC not being on, even after changing to a different room. Sadly, the musty smell lingered throughout my three-day stay, and there was no bar to hang clothes. The location, while perfect for being right across from Dairy Queen, didn't meet my expectations based on the booking rating. The dining options were limited to cereal, which was particularly challenging during the hot summer days. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel facilities were decent, offering basic amenities and a clean environment.
